Expecting a new member of the family is an exciting time, whether it’s your first, second or even your third child. I offer both Newborn and Maternity Sessions.
When your baby is born you’ll find the first few weeks are an amazing, life changing and truly magical time. As you look at your child, you are at long last able to see your baby’s unique features on a face that you have imagined for so long.
My Newborn Sessions will create lasting memories of these unforgettable early stages of your baby’s life with photographs that you will treasure forever. You can feel assured and at ease that, being a mother myself, I am fully equipped to create a calm and trusting environment for you and your bundle of joy.
Your Newborn photography session needs to take place within the first 14 days from birth, when your baby is still very sleepy and can be easily positioned into exquisite poses. It will last up to two hours and babies usually sleep contentedly throughout, in the warm cozy environment. And don’t worry, there is plenty of time for feeding and cuddling whenever you like. I like to dedicate about the first hour to Parent and Baby Pictures and the second half to just baby pictures.
A variety of props are available, however, it is encouraged to scour your own house and personal belongings to add a unique and personal touch to your memories.

Maternity
Maternity Sessions are usually taken outdoors because of the flexibility and variety of backgrounds nature offers. They last upwards of an hour and can include siblings, a pet and significant other at a local location of your choice. The ideal time for baby bump pictures is around the 7/8 month mark when you are showing more and not in the very uncomfortable moving stage.
