Swift Water Training Course
On September 7th, 2019 a Swift Water Rescue Training course was held just outside Valleyview, Alberta run by Travis Finlayson from Exshaw. Members of the Greenview Search and Rescue team and Technical Search and Rescue from Grande Prairie, Alberta were in attendance. I have recently partnered with the GSAR group to help bring awareness to this amazing group of people and showcase their skills and this Swift Water Course was to train them in moving water and how to work as a team to rescue someone. These dedicated volunteers are just a hand full of the trained individuals that are out searching for our loved ones in all kinds of weather conditions and situations.
