Your online Gallery Code can be found on your personalized flyer that was handed out by your child’s teacher. This code is for retake day as well. Contact me if you require codes for children with separated families.
Your child’s photos will be uploaded to their online Portrait Gallery approx. 72 hours after their sitting appointment.
Portraits that have been photographed using our Virtual Background (Green Screen) program allow background changes. Click on the different backgrounds in your online portrait gallery to see all these portraits. Portraits taken on a solid background cannot be changed.
No, you can order 1 pose per package.
The first two children are full price. Any additional children in the same family will receive a 25% discount. Packages must be of the same or lesser value (Novelty Items such as magnets are not included).
You must contact the studio to get your unique discount code. Refunds will not be given to families who place there order before receiving there code.
If the Portraits are not to your satisfaction, please come for retakes on your schools scheduled day if there is one. If you miss retake day please contact me to arrange a session in my studio. A session fee will apply.
Your Portraits will be available to purchase online until June 30th of the same calendar school year and then archived for an additional year.
NOTE: Archive fees apply to all orders after the the above date.
Delivery is 3-4 weeks after the Photo Order Deadline Date. The deadline date is usually 7 days after the retake day. All orders received by the deadline will be delivered to the school. Please be patient they are on there way.
Visa, Visa debit as well pre-paid credit cards are all accepted. If you would like to pay by e-transfer, please contact me and place your order over the phone and then send a e-transfer.
Please have the package, background and image numbers you are interested in and call me at 780-552-6599 to complete your order. You can pay by e-transfer.
Once an online order has been submitted, changes cannot be made to the original order. Please call or email me directly to resolve any issues. 780.552.6599
If you you did not receive the correct order, please phone or email me directly within 14 days of receiving your order. I will look into your order and correct it for you if needed.
Yes you can order online, please note: a shipping & handling fee of $10.00 is applicable and will be added to your order. The photos will be delivered to the school when ready or a additional shipping cost will be applied to ship to your home.
If a Digital Download is purchased, you will receive a separate email with your to your image(s) close to the date your pictures will be delivered. The Digital Images will be emailed to the email provided. Mary Colleen Photography DOES NOT sell or send out your images on a CD. The images purchased are sized to an 8x10.
Occasionally photos may be misplaced or classes may hand out the photos on different days, please wait a couple of days or check with the office. Check with your child’s teacher, or check there desk.

Due to the custom nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once printed or downloaded, cannot be exchanged or returned; Mary Colleen Photography has a NO REFUNDS POLICY. Once a transaction has been completed (the buyer selected and paid for the photo and Mary Colleen Photography has fulfilled the order and delivered the buyer the correct photograph) it is considered non-refundable. Refunds will NOT be given due to “not liking a photo”, selecting an incorrect pose, selecting an incorrect background, cropping, not entering discount codes or any other reason.
If a mistake is sent to the buyer, there are missing components or there is a quality issue with the finished product, Mary Colleen Photography will send the corrected photo to the buyer free of charge.
Help your child pick out clothes and colours (DO NOT WEAR GREEN, that includes CAMO) that look good on them. After all, your child is the star of the photo—not their shirt, so avoid slogans, logos, and big patterns. Small jewelry and accessories are fine but nothing too big or distracting.
Any hairstyle works for Picture Day. Schedule haircuts a few weeks ahead of time to allow hair to grow back a little, or you can go for a fresh-cut look.
Keep kids relaxed and ready to be themselves. Smiles can look fake if they’re practiced ahead of time.
Don’t worry about “perfect”! That hair that always sticks up or a missing tooth shows your child just as they are right now—and you’ll enjoy looking back on that for years to come.

I specialize in School, Sports, Newborn and Family photography in The MD of Greenview, Alberta. I try to blend candid and traditional styles to create elegant and memorable images.
Born in London, Ontario I studied Fine Art at Fanshawe College before moving to Lethbridge, AB to finish my BFA in Fine Art with a focus on Photography. Upon completion, I moved to Norwich, UK to complete a Masters Degree in Fine Art specializing in Photography and Sculpture. During my stay in the UK I exhibited my photographs and sculptures extensively in public venues and art galleries, as well as opening an art gallery and an art business called Art Syndicate LLP which focused on placing art in various venues. I was also head of the B&W Photography department, technician and curator for the Norwich Arts Centre while in the UK. My work is part of several private and corporate collections.
Returning to Canada in 2006 I worked at The Art Gallery of Calgary in Calgary, AB as the Acting Curator and Exhibition Photographer. During my time in Calgary I also had the pleasure of working with Murphy Images and Murphy Classic Photography, Calgary's leading photographer for Schools, Sports and Weddings.
