Children & Families

Your family photos are meant to document the love that you have for each other and preserve those moments which seem to pass by so quickly as kids grow older. You can have your photos done any time of the year outdoors or in my studio.  I recommend families with children over the age of 5 to have pictures outdoors because there is more space and freedom to get those amazing expressions you would like me to capture. Mother Nature also offers some amazing natural backdrops in this beautiful province that  can enhance any picture. 

We will do a variety of posed portraits and informal poses. I find that the real smiles are captured by playing and having fun and interacting with each other so I try to make it a combination of both. A session includes  photographs of your whole family, your children - together and individual and a couples picture. Lots of variety to capture that moment in time and give you lots of images decorate your life with.

This session is custom designed for you. We can chat ahead of time to determine a location that  you’ll love.  Hints and tips are given so that you are ready for your big day. You will be given access to a gallery of images that have been chosen and lovingly edited just for you so that when you see them you will fall even more in love with your family. I will travel up to a 50km radius at no charge from Valleyview, Alberta.  Additional distance is $0.30 per/km.

Lots of times over the holidays or during special occasions families can all be in the same location. It is hard to arrange so many people to be in the same place at the same time. This can be a wonderful opportunity to capture everyone together. This outdoor session lasts upwards of an hour and will include a variety of combinations of adults, couples, grandkids, children and more! Sometimes I have families go in on the photo shoot together so everyone gets some great memories to share. Holidays are a busy time and I usually book up quickly. MINI SESSIONS
